Migrant Ministry

The Saint Gabriel Migrant Ministry Team supports a group of Mexican Farm Workers who perform seasonal labor at a large commercial farm in Chesterfield County. Each year the Workers arrive in early April and return home in mid-November. The Migrant Ministry Team provides welcome kits containing personal items for the Farm Workers upon their arrival; hosts spring and fall picnics; and provides spiritual outreach. 

 The ministry, also works with Chesterfield County school officials to assist recently arrived migrant students. The focus has been with Meadowbrook High School.
