Capital Campaign

St. Gabriel Family,

I would like to thank you for your continued support of our church’s Growing and Building Together building project through our Capital Campaign.

The plan of the campaign is to construct classrooms for our lovely children and youth. We will also gain additional space for on-going adult formation, pre- and post-marital counselling and catechesis, and much-needed office space. My dear ones, our St. Gabriel family deserves these improved facilities. I want us to be positive! Please continue to keep up with your pledge payments and contributions.

By the direction of the Diocese, we are working with TRC Engineering Company who, in collaboration with an architect and Century Construction, are doing everything possible to get the permit from the county to kick start the proposed project. They had their first submission appointment on October 14. They received few comments, minor adjustments are being made, and the updates will be resubmitted.

We are energized and have good momentum; we are past the 50% mark in pledges received. Keep up the great work! I assure you that anyone with an outstanding pledge will receive their quarterly pledge statement within the next week. I am praying for discernment on potentially adding an additional two members to the existing Building Committee.

Keep our project and the growth of our church in your prayers so our vision of breaking ground early next year will be realized.

Once again, I appreciate your continued support and patience as this process is navigated.

If you were unable to pledge during the campaign or if you are new to the parish, you can still support the new building project; it is never too late. All envelope givers receive monthly "capital campaign" envelopes in their monthly packets. We have envelopes on the "thermometer" board in the commons, or you can do it electronically.
